Today, we had the amazing, wholehearted opportunity to perform alongside a talented student band from LASA High School. The evening was filled with warm, classical melodies and upbeat songs like "From the Start" by Laufey, which, as one of our seniors described, sounded like a Brazilian samba! We even got to celebrate the 77th anniversary of two of the residents by playing them "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic! We always enjoy seeing the seniors clap to the beat and move side to side.

MelodyMuse had a wonderful time performing at Parsons Home, where we played a selection of classical violin pieces during a lively evening event for residents and their families. As guests enjoyed dinner, we aimed to add a warm and uplifting atmosphere through music, creating a space filled with calm, joy, and connection. One of the most special parts of the evening was spending time mingling with residents and hearing their thoughts on the music, what it reminded them of, and how it made them feel. One resident shared, “This reminded me of the old days, when the conductors used to do that,” as she recreated the motion with her hand, a moment that truly captured the power of music to bring back meaningful memories. We believe music has a unique ability to soothe the mind and reconnect us with moments we hold close, and we are so grateful to have been part of such a memorable evening at Parsons Home!

We were so excited to return to Sage Park Senior Living Center after the incredible response to our last dance performance! This time, we not only shared a variety of dances but also invited the residents to join us by trying some of the poses themselves. The room was filled with laughter, smiles, and enthusiasm as everyone participated.
We can't wait to continue building connections through culture, movement, and community. Thank you, Sage Park, for another unforgettable afternoon!

MelodyMuse had such a wonderful time performing at Sage Park Senior Living Center! Through dance, music, and conversation, we were able to share an afternoon full of energy, culture, and connection with the residents. We also loved bringing traditional Indian snacks for everyone to enjoy, which made the experience even more special. Seeing the smiles, clapping, and excitement from the audience reminded us why we love bringing the arts into our community. Thank you to everyone at Sage Park for welcoming us so warmly — we can’t wait to visit again!

Today, MelodyMuse partnered with SAIVA, a non-profit focused on combatting senior isolation, to organize a warm, cultural event for seniors. We had the opportunity to spend time with the wonderful residents at a local retirement home through a morning full of music, bingo, conversation, and brunch. Seeing everyone laugh, sing along, and share stories reminded us how meaningful small moments of connection can be. We’re so grateful to have been able to brighten a few days while creating memories!

Music has always been one of our favorite ways to connect with others, and getting to share that through violin lessons with Avery was such a meaningful experience. From learning new techniques to building confidence and having fun along the way, every lesson was filled with growth, patience, and lots of music. We’re so proud of all the progress that was made and grateful for the opportunity to keep spreading the joy of fine arts
